Booklet Printing

There are many ways in which organizations use booklet printing!
While booklets can be bound with different technologies, saddle stitch binding, coil binding and wire-o binding are the most popular

Booklets are used every day in the business and private worlds.

In the business field all of these documents are used on a daily basis: presentations, training documents, contracts, business plans, standardized protocols as card card-body as so many others.

In our private lives, many people have written their own cook books, some attend college and receive tutorial documents as booklets, writers put their prose or verses together in a booklets. There are numerous uses for these.

Graphic Design: Before printing a booklet, you must have a file in digital format. You might be able to design it yourself, or to hire the services of graphic designers. Those who design by themselves will find a number of tools available: Eg: Adobe's design suites, to Microsoft Publisher, as card card-body as so much other free sofware that can be used online. I would include here the Open Office suite (free) that can be downloaded from https://www.openoffice.org/and many other open source suites. Whichever design tool you end up using, just make sure that it will handle high-resolution images. Images that get to press in low resolution do not print as nicely as they could. (many entry-level suites downsize the images, loosing much of the detail that the origimal images have)

FAQ / Frequently asked questions about booklet printing, Q and A:

Question - What stock is it usually used for the covers?

Answer - Depending on the binding method, sometimes a clear plastic cover and a black plastic back cover are used. Other times booklets are "self-cover" meaning that the cover sheets are of the same nature as the paper used for the inside of the publication. On other occasions, the covers can be printed on cover stock, that is available on different thicknesses.
